Six months ago, I turned 40. I was overweight, sick, and depressed. It wasn't the first time I'd felt that way. The truth is, I felt that way for most of my adult life. It was then that I decided to make a change. Push-ups, sit-ups, and squats lead to intermittent fasting and a high-protein diet. Then came the cardio, dumbbells, and a personal trainer. These days, it’s creatine, whey, BCAAs and my latest weapon: a Polar heart rate monitor. I'm nowhere near done.
